Western Equatoria. Hon. Governor Alfred Futuyo Wrongly accuse the undersecretaries of national ministries of health and education over Ibba county incident.

Hon. Governor Alfred welcomed H.E the vice president and the delegation who came from Juba to witness for themselves the incident that has brought devastating consequences on the pupils and the entire communities of Ibba county.

In his remarks, the Hon. Governor Alfred Futuyo said, the undersecretaries of national ministries of health and education were responsible for the drugs that poisoned the pupils in Ibba county, thus the state government was not part of the Deworming campaign that led to this tragic events,

However, he urged  H.E the vice president of service Cluster and national government to construct or repair the road that connect Maridi and  Ibba, even more importantly the feeder roads linking Maruko and Nabanga Payams to easy movement of people and other services.

He also mentioned that, the conflict and atrocities committed in Tambura is being fueled by the political leaders in Juba hence, the blame is being pushed from all corners on him and his government of WES as the main actor in the conflict.

On the same note, he mentions that many people give false allegations that, Selekas in CAR have Joined and supporting the Balanda in the fight against the Azande in Tambura. Therefore,  quote “I am aware of the mass mobilizations of the Azande communities from different counties initiated by politicians in Juba to fight the Balanda ethic clan”

In his final speeches he declared that, the Azande community in Ibba have moblized and organize themselves to fight the Baka community in Maridi and this plan has been initiated  by the political leaders. However, this statement or declaration was made without substantial justification or  objectives to launch such tribal conflict between the two ethnic communities.

He reassured the entire community of Ibba county to remain calm as government take lead of investigations into the causes of the over reactions to the Deworming drugs. He further emphasized that, community in Ibba should not take law into their hands to harm anyone.

The Vice president of service Cluster upgraded  declared Ibba  Primary Health Care Center PHCC  to COUNTY HOSPITAL.

He warned the political leaders not to take such occasion for their political agenda and campaigns but should support the implementation of the Reviterized Peace Agreement. He further stressed that the national government will not sit back and keep seeing atrocities being committed in WES.

He condemned the alleged involvement and support given by  the Seleka the armed group in  CAR to  the tribal armed men to commit atrocities in South Sudan particularly Tambura county in WES.

Finally H.E the vice president donated funds to the affected patients and other various institutions in Ibba county including Ibba Girl Boarding school.
