Vice Chancellor at the University of Juba warns landgrabbers taking over University land
University of Juba’s Vice-Chancellor Dr. John Apuruot Akec has warned landgrabbers against buying or grabbing land belonging to the University of Juba.
Vocal Akec through Facebook warned alleged landgrabbers to stay away from the University’s land and avoid erecting structures on land allocated to the university.
“Warning to University of Juba’s Land Grabbers
Be assured that my students and I will march through the streets of Juba and will demolish your buildings that you are erecting on our land. Be wise. Be very very wise with your money. Do not say you have not been warned about your potential financial loss,” Akec warning post reads.
Dr. John Apuruot Akec was appointed Vice Chancellor for the University of Juba, the oldest and largest public university in South Sudan in March 2014.
