Veteran politician Joseph Bakosoro returns to SPLM after 10 years
Former Western Equatoria Governor Joseph Bakosoro has rejoined the SPLM party, 10 years after deserting the ruling party.
After leaving SPLM, Joseph Bangasi Bakosoro former a new party – National Movement for Change party.
He was elected governor in 2010, fired by President Kiir in 2015 and then detained for several months without charges.
Bakosoro left South Sudan after his release from detention in early 2016. After traveling to the United States, he formed his political movement in 2017.
