THE SPLM-IO HUMANITARIAN WORKERS VS REAL SPLM-IO IN CELEBRATING THE FORMATION OF REVITALIZED TRANSITIONAL GOVERNMENT OF NATIONAL UNITY

BY HON MALEK COOK-DWACH;

An insightful debate on what they perceived a victory on the unfolding event of political games clouded its textures and structural set-up in both states and national levels of the government.

Their intended celebrations could be worth it if it meant for peaceful ones not in the contrary or at the expense of SPLM-IO Gen. Taban Deng Led groups whom they wrongly equated to be left-out and disadvantaged by the implementation of R-ARCSS.

One is confused about what generated their bad wishes when the whole country is yearning for relative peace to prevail. The saddest realities are: they do not know that SPLM-IO Gen. Taban Led groups are the part of Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan (R-ARCSS). There is no other way for them to be left out or otherwise the peace could not be inclusive for all stakeholders or signatories and that will render it ineffective.

In the cause of this bad precedence, I challenged their behaviors toward peace implementation as a double standards because they are war beneficiaries through humanitarian aids portraying themselves as neutral during war time and now showing their allegiances and loyalty toward SPLM-IO by being diehard supporters through their rhetoric utterances.

The recent press statement we released to media houses by Members of Parliaments in Transitional National Legislative Assembly (TNLA) and states Ministers couldn’t be misinterpreted as a point of weakness; it is actually a pure political protest demanding what is rightfully allocated to us in the agreement. Rights are always demanded not free gifts.

The involvement of SPLM-IO Humanitarian Workers in the implementation of Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan (R-ARCSS) could be applauded and their role in advocacy for peaceful south Sudan would be acknowledge if they abstain themselves of what can tear the country apart.
