The Sacking of Mr. Maal Maker Thiong was a set up in J1

On May 1, 2021, some of us were caught by news on social media concerning the sacking of Mr. Maker Thiong from the Presidency.

As soon as I got the news of the dismissal Maal Maker Thiong from the Office of the President, I got interested and began searching to dig out the underlying reasons for his dismissal. This is because Mr. Maal Maker Thiong has been working in the office of the President for five years.

He was appointed as the senior Photographer in 2015 and he had been working in that post for five years until he was terminated on April 19, 2021.

In the termination letter written by Mr. Ateny Wek Ateny, the Press Secretary dated April 19, 2021 with serial number as OOPPSOMOPA/20-J-1/2/20, the following reasons were given:
1. That Mr. Maal Maker Thiong billed the Governor of Central Bank for printing pictures during the swearing in 2019 of which Maal Maker Thiong was said to have been given a warning on January 10, 2019.
2. That Maal Maker Thiong allowed the photos which the Sudanese Artist, Nadaa Al Ghalaa took with the President through him. That Nadaa posted the photos without being edited that led to the sea of criticisms against the Presidency. These two reasons are said to be the cause of the termination of his letter.

However, according to the letter of complaint of unfair dismissal written by Mr. Maal Maker Thiong to the Hon. Minister in the office of President, Barnaba Marial Benjamin, Maal Maker stated that clearly that rejected the deals with the Governor of Central Bank and also those photos of which he is being accused were approved by Tut Kew and Ateny Wek Ateny.

In summary, after having analyzed all the communications from Maal Maker Thiong and the office of the President, Maal Maker Thiong was unfairly dismissed by Ateny Wek.
