SPLM-IO HAS  APPOINTED  FAKE  LAWYER JUSTIN KATO TO REPLACED ADVOCATE SAMUEL BORETE IN WESTERN EQUATORIA STATE

What many believed to be the true story about the arrest of Advocate Samuel Borete in Yambio was simply SPLA/IO creature to make him disappear for being vocal on human rights violations and lack of access to justice by IO county court judge.

Sources from the state capital revealed that, the presence of Advocate Samuel Borete was a threat to IO illegal activities in the state as he offered free legal advise.

IO governor brought his relative called Justin Kato who does not law qualifications to work for him as legal advisor and also brought IO county judge closer to him to punish members of public who did not buy his IO ideas.

Justin Kato had always tell people around that he waa legal advisor of governor and also he attends council of ministers meetings

It was said by someone who preferred to remain unanimous in fear of repraisal that, Justin Kato’s presence as government legal advisor was opposed by the state public administration after which IO county judge advised governor to send him to court to him for them to work together to achieve IO vision in Western Equatoria State. Adv. Samuel Borete after knowing Justin Kato was not a lawyer informed South Sudan Bar Association to confirm his advocacy status. Justin Kato’s name was not found in Advocates list in South Sudan. A letter from the President of South Sudan Bar Association was sent to the County court Judge informing him Justin Kato did not exist in the list of South Sudan Advocates and should not be allow to appear before court. The judge rejected the letter from South Sudan Bar Association President and continued to work with Justin Kato as Advocate This situation of misunderstanding and disagreements for status of Justin Kato became a serious issue between Adv. Samuel Borete and IO leadership, Judge and Kato on the other hand had continued for long. Efforts made to arrest Kato for impersonation could not work as he had strong backing from IO Judge and the state leadership.

On 12/11/2021, the judge and cohorts created a situation of demostration and falsely claim Adv. Samuel Borete was a leader. No single person was arrested who pointed finger at Adv. Samuel Borete as his or her leader. The matter was more political than it was portrayed.

It has been revealed by someone who preferred unanimity in fear of repraisal said the governor promised judge and his relative that, upon his return from Juba, if he finds Adv. Samuel Borete alive the best he could do to relief them was to take away his practicing license from him and send out him of Western Equatoria State.

It is said Adv. Samuel Borete is still under political detention in his Yambio residence. Efforts to reach Adv. Samuel Borete has been unsuccessfull.

On 16/11/2021, it has been said he confirmed to be among those who planned to harm Adv. Samuel Borete. On his page he wrote”Junior was on board with legends, this is how they call him, but HE’s Tiger. Wait and see the reaally action you need”
