SOUTH SUDANESE WOMEN LIVING IN KENYA SPEND MORE MONEY ON CLOTHES AND FLOWERS TO CELEBRATE VALENTINE” S DAY

 

Every year, on February 14, people from all over the world indulge in this day of love and appreciation we all know as Valentine’s Day. While largely a mainstream commercial holiday, with every year, more people find themselves spoiling their friends and family with gifts, from bouquets of flowers to experiential activities.

 

Surveys that conducted in Major towns in Kenya   shows that south Sudanese women will spend more money on the occasion of valentine Day   barely two day to Valentine’s Day celebration

 

South Sudanese Women living in Major towns in Kenya will spend more money in such towns like  Nairobi, Eldoret, Nakuru and Kitale and Bungoma

One lady defines Day as sweet memories in a romantic relationship, but it usually comes with some cost people to spend more money to celebrate Valentine, Day

 

Not everyone has the same budget for Valentine’s Day a wives of Veterans serving in the Army in south Sudan says that we will not spend or celebrate the events because we have no budget for it since our Husbands has not been paid for more than a year  Achol disclosed to the media
