President Kiir pays tribute to late Honourable John Masua Madanza

JUBA,12th November 2022-His Excellency President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Saturday joined mourners at Juba International Airport to see off the casket of the late lawmaker, Retired Gen. John Masua Madanza, who passed on eariler this week in Abyei Administrative Area while on a government mission.

Speaking to the Press at Juba International Airport, the Minister of Presidential Affairs Dr. Barnaba Marial Benjamin said President Kiir described late Honourable Masua as a great liberator who will be remembered for his contribution towards the Independence of South Sudan.

Late Honourable John Masua had traveled to Abyei with other members of the Council of States Adhoc Committee who were dispatched on fact-finding mission following violent dispute between Twic and Ngok Dinka communities.

Hon. Masua will be laid to rest in his home town of Maridi, Western Equatoria State.
