CENTRAL EQUATORIA STATE STATE, GOVERNOR ADIL URGES YANGWARA COMMUNITY TO EMBRACE PEACE

JUBA….(SSVV) Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony and his accompanying delegation left Juba town this morning for Rokon Payam-Yangwara land on a one day official mission.
The main purpose of this visit was enable Governor Emmanuel and his accompanying delegation directly hear from the locals on ground and acquaint themselves with some of the challenges confronting the community and chart a way forward of addressing them in a very holistic manner.
Addressing over hundreds of the locals who converged at Rokon payam headquarters,Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony has urged the Yangwara community to embrace peace,unity and rally in their full support to the leadership of president Kiir as he per-take in the speedy implementation of the revitalized peace agreement.
Governor Emmanuel also assured the locals of his administration’s willingness to give continuity to some of the unfinished projects in the defunct Jubek state.This comes following his inspection tour to some of the major facilities like Schools,health care center and the payam headquarters respectively.
Governor Emmanuel further appealed to the locals to continue engaging their sons and daughters who have taken up arms against the government to join the peace wagon in abit to realize peace,stability and development.
The Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement Agency,Hon. Moro Isaac Genesio echoed similar sentiment of calling upon the Yangwara community to embrace peace,unity and continue engaging their sons and daughters who are still in the bushes to join the peace process to pave way for development of the area.
The Commissioner of Juba County,Hon. Charles Wani reiterated the government’s commitment towards working jointly with security agencies for the speedy return of the cattle herders into their places of origin in order to pave way for the farming communities to engage on their normal activities.
Meanwhile,the Yangwara Community in totality reaffirmed their unwavering support to the leadership of Governor Emmanuel as he steers the state to the path of peace, security stabilisation and development.
The Yangwara community also welcomes the Governor’s visit to the area and described it as positive gesture towards the development of the payam and Juba county in general.
It should also be noted that,Hon. Governor Adil was accompanied by the State Advisor on Gender,Child and Social Welfare,Hon. Mariam Juma Zechariah,Minister of Local Government and Law enforcement agency,Hon. Isaac Moro Genesio,Minister of Roads and Bridges,Hon. Mawa A.Moses,security heads in the state level and other government officials.
