The leadership of the South Sudan United Front/Army headed by former Chief of Staff, Paul Malong has suspended Dr Sunday De John, as SUF’s official Spokesperson with immediate effects.
“The leadership of South Sudan United Front/Army regrets to inform its supporters and the general public that it has suspended Dr Sunday De John, SSUF/A’s Secretary of Information & Communications Technology, as its official Spokesman with effect from the date of this letter until further notice.”
On equal note, SSUF/A leadership wishes to acknowledge and appreciate Dr Sunday De John for his commendable role and contribution to the movement. SSUFIA will, in due course, update its membership, parties, media houses and the general public once the new acting Spokesperson assumes office.
The rebel group – which did not sign the peace agreement – commends de John for his distinguished service as an ICT Secretary and official Spokesperson.
The South Sudan United Front (SUF/A) is a member of the South Sudan Opposition Movements Alliance (SSOMA) a coalition group that comprises of Non-signatory Parties to the R-ARCSS.
