President Salva Kiir has departed Juba for the United Arab Emirates on an official diplomatic visit aimed at attracting investment and strengthening bilateral relations.
According to his press secretary, Ambassador David Amuor Majur, the President will engage Emirati business leaders and government officials to promote investment opportunities in South Sudan’s key economic sectors.
The visit comes amid ongoing reforms by the government to improve the country’s business environment and attract foreign direct investment.
President Kiir is also expected to hold discussions on regional peace, trade, and infrastructure cooperation, as part of broader efforts to deepen international partnerships and support post-conflict development.
