JUBA, South Sudan — The South Sudan National Bureau of Standards announced that Executive Director Gloria Nyoka Joseph has resumed her official duties, effective June 19, 2025. Her return follows a five-day administrative suspension that began June 13, 2025.
According to a statement obtained by The Juba Mirror, the matter was resolved by the appropriate government authorities.
The bureau reaffirmed its commitment to executing its mandate of protecting consumers, safeguarding public health and safety, and defending the national economy from substandard and counterfeit goods.
The announcement was made by Ruot Doubol Duop, director general for administration and finance at the bureau.
