Inside NSS We have discovered that Colonel Madut Ayai Deng is a controversial figure within the National Security Service, involved in the prolonged unlawful detention of Activist Michael Wetnhialic.
Wetnhialic was arrested by the National Security Service and taken into custody on Friday, March 21, 2025, and accused of being responsible for a fake Facebook account named Emanuel Monymoor that has been slandering government officials, but evidence proved his innocence on the very day of his arrest.
Despite this, he continued to be held in the National Security Service detention facility due to espionage allegations fabricated by an officer, Col. Madut Ayai Deng, who was believed to have personal grievances against Michael Wetnhialic.
According to the NS officer who spoke to us on the condition of anonymity, when Michael was found innocent and was about to be released the same day of his arrest, but Madut fabricated false charges that Wetnhialic is an agent working for American intelligence.
Colonel Madut constructed a story suggesting that Wetnhialic had been placing phone calls to prominent government officials and interviewing them while his communication devices were linked to the CIA, implying that American intelligence was monitoring these conversations.
Such manipulation not only endangers Wetnhialic’s freedom but also harms the reputation of the National Security Service, raising concerns about credibility and accountability within the organization.
