First of all, I would like to remind you that before the fatal civil war in 2013, Gen. Simon Yien Makuac was the the deputy commander for administration and finance in the Tiger Division also known as the presidential guards. He was the one in charge of all the administrative issues. Prior to that deadly civil war, Gen. Yien treated all the nuer officers in the Tiger Division so badly in order for them to rebel with Dr. Riek Machar. When he realized that Dr. Riek had been chased away from Juba and many nuer civilians were killed, he refused to rebel with Riek and remained inside so that he continues to spy on the government on behalf of Dr. Riek Remember, he was in charge of RRC when his boss Riek Machar rebelled against Dr. John Garang in 1991. As we speak, he is a mole within the SPLM-IG spying for Dr. Riek Machar.
Here are the activities Gen. Yien had done in the last few months to set the last nail in the coffin for H.E President Salva Kiir leadership and rally all nuer civilians behind Dr.Riek Machar:
1. He falsely accused Akol Koor for teaming up with Dr Riek Machar in order to overthrow president Salva Kiir. He was doing this to divide Warrap State and weaken President Kiir support in Bhar El Ghazal Region which is his political backyard.
2. He rallied for the removal of presidential Advisor for National Security, Hon. Tut Gatluak Manime so that Unity State is divided and Dr. Riek takes full control of the entire Western Nuer especially Mayom County which supported the President fully both in 2013 and 2016.
3. He fully campaigned for the total collapse of Tumaini Initiative because he fears the return of top political figures from Upper Nile Region like Pagan Amum and Gen. Buay Rolnyang.
4. Currently, he is the one giving wrong intelligence report to CDF and CMI to bomb Eastern nuer civilians with chemical bombs so that the civil population gets annoyed and rally behind Dr.Riek Machar as the succession politics takes the center stage. This week, the elder son of Gen. Simon Yien is marrying a lady from Cie-Wang from Nasir County while he is busy bombarding them with chemical weapons because he loves Dr. Riek Machar more than civilian lives. How can you bomb your son in laws?
5. Imagine, the commander for SPLA-IO Sector 3 in Lankien and Sector 4 in Akobo are his relatives. He facilitated the movement of Gen. Yiey Dak from Juba to Lankien then to Ethiopia through the aforementioned commanders. When he realized that Gen. Yiey Dak has crossed to Ethiopia, he wrongly advised the CDF to bomb Lou Nuer land. He is doing this so that Lou Nuer white army got angry and support Dr. Riek Machar again.
Dear president Kiir, if you really means your words that you will never take South Sudan back to civil war, then you have to relieve this mole within your government that is working day and night to tarnish your legacy as soon as possible before Dr. Riek Machar rebel against you again. All nuer civilians know that you’re a peace loving man.
