A young political activist has sent warning to new Vice President for Economic Cluster Benjamin Bol Mel not to meddle in Lakes state affairs by attempting to influence the rumoured sacking of Lakes State governor Gen Rin Tueny Mabor.
Jirkuei Marek Anyuon, a fierce critic of the new VP has appealed to him and a group he called wayward and irresponsible youths from Lakes state from conniving to implement a sinister plan to remove governor Rin whom he says has stabilize it to make one of the most secure states in the country.
Mr Marek aimed an attack on unnamed individuals from his state that he refers to as opportunists planning to go and loot the state to build mansions in East Africa and getting married to battalion of wives.
Rumours has it that former Deputy Minister of Interior Marial Gumke is among the leading individuals vying for the governorship in Lakes state.
Mr. Marek warned VP Bol Mel of the consequences of going ahead with the removal of Governor Rin that he says is supported by the community to continue with the stability of the state.
In an interview with the Juba Mirror news desk, the young political activist urged for a halt and cancellation of the alleged imminent decree for the removal of Gen Rin that he says is expected to be announced within this week.
