JUBA, Nov. 29, 2024 — The University of Juba has announced the postponement of its 26th graduation ceremony, originally scheduled for Dec. 7, 2024, due to logistical challenges. The event has been rescheduled for Feb. 22, 2025, according to a statement obtained by The Jubamirror News Desk.
The university expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the deferral and reassured graduands, their families, and the public of its commitment to a successful convocation in February.
As a result of the rescheduling, the deadline for graduation registration has been extended to Dec. 31, 2024. The university has urged schools that have yet to process their students’ graduation results to submit the necessary documents to the Academic Registry by Dec. 21, 2024, ensuring all eligible students can register before the holiday break.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause and thank you for your cooperation and understanding,” the university stated. “We look forward to celebrating with the graduating batch in 2025.”
The University of Juba emphasized its dedication to providing a memorable ceremony for its graduands and their families in the coming year.
