NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug. 10, 2024 — Hon. Kuel Aguer Kuel, former governor of Northern Bahr el Ghazal and a prominent political figure, was involved in a severe road accident in Nairobi, resulting in a broken right leg. Kuel, who was in the city attending peace talks organized by the Tumaini Initiative as a representative of the Pan-African Congress for Change and Accountability, is currently receiving treatment at Nairobi Hospital.
According to social media reports, Kuel was admitted immediately after the accident, which occurred earlier today.
