In June of 2023, the government of the United States of America sanctioned a then Major General James Nando, alongside his previous commander; General Alfred Futuyo (now WES Governor) over conflict related violence against women and children.
As the norm, whoever is sanctioned by the USA cannot travel to America, with the inability of transacting businesses in the US Dollars. Foreign assets of the sanctioned persons located in America are normally frozen. Additionally, all cooperation agreements are suspended. This is normally enforced by the United States of America and its allies.
Due to this imposed sanction, the innocent people of Western Equatoria State have been affected greatly because the American government through its embassy in the Republic of South Sudan haulted every support it was rendering to the state.
This included visits, as witnessed earlier in February 2024, when the Ambassador declined The Royal Invitation to commemorate the Second Anniversary of the Reinstatement of the Azande Kingdom in Yambio.
In an effort to skip the negative effects of the sanction in question, Hon. Alfred Futuyo resorted to counterfeiting both the American dollar and the South Sudanese Pounds, in an effort to fill any gap the sanction might have created.
The direct and indirect involvement of governor Futuyo in the man-made silent genocide in Tambura County is no secret to the Western Equatorians.
It is worth noting that I do not subscribe to any warring parties to the conflict.
As a servant of God, I stand for unity, love and the urgent return to the peaceful coexistence the Azande and the Abare had always been known for. I took interest to investigate this scandal because it was linked to the man-made conflict in Tambura County. Since any conflict has more than a side, it is no secret that governor Futuyo is among those sponsoring the unrest in question.
To achieve the above, both financial and human resources had to be mobilised as follows:
1. Ghost government employees.
Over three thousand ghost names in government’s payroll system, whose salaries are given to the state governor were created. The human resource being used here is Mr. Simple John (Director General of Finance Ministry) and the team, some of whose members confessed, it was a reality.
2. The mismanagement of the State Revenues. One of the Governor’s right hand men happens to be Mr. James Richard (the head of State Revenue). According to the various reports and authentic confessions, he illegally diverts the collected Revenues to the governor and invest some portion in the business named in number three below.
Yambio Top
This is a business being run by one Mr. Muzamir, who is the business partner of the curtails in question. Some unspecified amounts of money is invested into this business and the assigned shares are used to implement various projects, to include the unrest in Tambura County.
Mr. Isaac Akuera
He is the Yambio Monucipality Demarcation Engineer, who was handpicked by the governor without adhering to the due recruitment procedures established by the various laws.
His assignment is mainly to demarcate and sell every remaining public space in Yambio County. Money from this ill undertaking boosts the alleged tribal conflict in Tambura County. He is the brain behind the demographic changes being witnessed in Yambio County, whereby known and unknown people are being demarcated and allocated residential plots in Yambio County. This latter act is only compared to the land occupation being talked of, between Israel and Palestine.
This is very dangerous and may birth further conflicts in the future. However, investigations are ongoing to ascertain why someone originally from Eastern Equatoria State is being used to implement such outdated dangerous projects, at the watch of all state institutions to include the Police, National Security Service and the State Legislative Assembly.
5. The illegal mining
The mineral resources of Western Equatoria State are being depleted under the command and supervision of the State Governor, Gen. Alfred Futuyo. The mined minerals are given to the AMBORORO, who either buy instantly, or transport them to the international markets in some Arab countries. This is why the number of AMBORORO in the forests of the state (WES) has tripled since 2013.
6. The counterfeit project.
This is where the governor and his curtails print fake monies to include American dollars and South Sudanese Pounds. Those running this particular project are mainly his office’s Support Staff among other people. Names obtained include one Brig. John Jamal (Chief Administrator in Governor’s office), Mr. Alex Martin (Governor’s Private Secretary) and a few others. Those named above were apprehended by the National Security Service few weeks ago.
Also arrested was Mr. Peter, the machine operator, whose telephone communication with the governor and Brig. Jamal went viral. From the audio, Mr. Peter is heard informing Governor Futuyo that he had obtained the liquid chemical used in their counterfeit project. He also requested accommodation for three days. The governor assured him not to worry as long as Peter’s mission could indeed print money.
Upon assurance from Mr. Peter, the governor is heard redirecting him to speak with Brig. John Jamal for the finalization of the arrangements.
As proof of my private and authentic investigations that the governor is among those behind the conflict in Tambura County, a contract document was seized during the raid by the National Security Service; which was for buying ammunition, contrary to the ongoing ARMS EMBARGO against the Republic of South Sudan.
According to the seized contract, it was signed between Brig. John Jamal on behalf of his group and Mr. Mbianikpa Sakondo, on behalf of the BALTIC ARMS.
in a nutshell, the monies generated from the various sources mentioned above are used to purchase weapons to majorly boost the Tambura crisis.
In Yambio markets to be specific, the traders have always battled with fake dollars presented to them mainly by men and women in uniform. It is alleged that ammunition are also bought from some members of the South Sudan People’s Defense Force (SSPDF), alongside other units of the organised forces. Their inability to identify a fake currency is being taken advantage of.
All the contents of this article are being availed for the people of Western Equatoria State and the nation at large, to know what is happening.
I call upon the relevant established institutions of government to take interest in the allegations above, so as to bring sanity to the state, for the wellbeing of the entire country. This should be considered without placing anyone above the law, as we witnessed the kidnapping case of the once upon Honourable Charles Kisanga. The failure to apprehend those behind his kidnap till today simply portrayed the incapabilities of the FAILED, LOOTING, KIDNAPPING, LAND-GRABBING AND ASSASSINATING SPLM GOVERNMENT UNDER PRESIDENT SALVA KIIR MAYARDIT ALONGSIDE HIS CABINET.
