The Western Bahr El Ghazal Community in the diaspora stands united in expressing our support for the vote of no confidence against Governor Sarah Rial. As a community based in the United States, where Governor Sarah currently resides in the diaspora, we have lost confidence in her ability to represent our interests. Instead of serving our community, she appears to prioritize her personal agenda.
We fully endorse the statement made by members of NLC/SLC, National MPs, State MPs, National Party Secretariat, State Party Secretariat, Youth League, Women’s League, and Military leaders representing Wau, Nar Jur, and Raja counties. Their collective voice reflects our shared concerns and reinforces our stance.
The WBGcommunity expresses their readiness to support the vote of no confidence that will remove the sitting Governor Sarah Rial Cleto, who has been in the state since signing the peace agreement between SPLM-IO and the government, which ended the tribal and bloody civil war that has divided the nation into communities and clans.
The statement from the office of community chairman Mr. Rabeh Dimbiti, who is representing intellectuals, youth groups, and women in the diaspora, has joined and voiced their dissatisfaction with Governor Sarah Rial’s leadership style that does not care about the well-being of the citizens of WBGS since she took over the leadership and the office.
The same statement from members of SPLM-IO criticizes her for bad governance that has failed citizens.
