KHARTOUM – Sudan’s army has regained control of state radio and television buildings in Omdurman from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
Military sources report that an RSF attempt to break an army siege on the facilities was unsuccessful.
This development marks a significant setback for the RSF, which had held the state media outlets for nearly a year.
The army’s seizure is part of an ongoing territorial struggle between the two factions.
This is a developing story. More updates to follow.
