On Tenth, March, two thousand and twenty four, the noble sons and daughters of Twic East within the SPLM-IO voluntarily decided to travel to Panyagor to attend the Twic East county Global conference without prejudice as normal members like the rest of the members from another parties who attended.
Acknowledgment and appreciation; we acknowledge the candid role played by the Honorable commissioner of the Twic East county for granting us permission to participate in the Twic global conference, this is a good gesture.
Cognizant; we were cognizant about propaganda fabricated by the anti SPLM-IO and the secret agents within the SPLM-IO who misinformed the community for the coming of the noble sons and daughters of Twic who had no another intention apart from the Twic East county global conference.
Allegations; we also dismissed the allegations that we are coming to conduct the political rallies and launching of the SPLM-IO office, this is just camouflage to portraits the noble sons and daughters of Twic East county who had a good intention for the Global conference. We also dismiss the allegation that we were bribed by Hon. Deng Dau Deng Malek to go and interrupt the Twic East county global conference this a wide lie because we are not connected in anyway, our coming was for the good of our civil population whom we are fighting in all fronts to free them from the current conditions they are living in. We also dismissed the allegation that Rt. Hon .Speaker Amer Ateny Alier was with us, it is baseless and untrue and plane manifest is available at the public domain if there is a need of inquiry.
Meeting; we had series of the meeting with the community leaders and concern groups and explain our position clearly why we were so interested in participating in the Twic East county global conference and there were mixed reactions until we were told to go and participate as normal people without political activities and strongly agreed.
Incident; The noble sons and daughters left Juba on Sunday 10:37am CAT to attend the Twic Global conference after the permission however when we were about to land at the Mabior airstrip in Panyagor, there were number of cars parked in the runway and crowd of soldiers moving aimlessly and recklessly hence after the captain tried his best to go around three times unfortunately we were finally denied permission to land.
Condemn; We sons and daughters of Twic East county in the SPLM-IO strongly condemn the hostile nature played by some few individuals within Twic East community which contradict our knows values as tolerance, friendly, patriotic and peaceful community. We also call upon the youth in the social media platforms to refrain and restraint from negative propaganda and always shared the official information without concoctions.
Appeal; We do appeal to our supporters who were angered by the yesterday unfortunate event not to boycott or protest the Global conference and participate fully since Twic East county belong to all of us.
Call; we call upon the community leadership to treat all sons and daughters of Twic East county with due respect and always cooperate.
”Thankful; we are so thankful to the Almighty father for the protection during the flight that spent two hours and thirty minutes in the air without refueling.
We also thank His Excellency the first Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan Dr. Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon and his executive director for the warm welcoming and comforting us after the unexpected event.” Ngor Jameson Panchol stressed.
Conclusion; we wish the conferees all the best during the conference in order to produce well informed decisions and such resolutions will create an impactful life to our people in future, our prayers are with you.
We are committed to whatsoever resolutions after the conference and as Twic East sons and daughters in all corners regardless of political affiliations.
