Civil Society groups in lakes state are calling on the state government to accorded late general Matur Chut with a State burial in well decorated way.
Coordinator of Community Empowerment for Progress Organization CEPO Daniel Laat Kon says that late Gen. Matur Chut should be bury at Rumbek Freedom that is where closer to the entire State.
“Bury him in Rumbek Freedom Square where his family members, relatives and the entire people of Lakes State be closer to him daily, weekly, monthly and yearly for quick remembrance of his present.
Civil Society leader add that late General Matur Chut deserves to accorded with a state burial in most decorated way.
“Late General Matur Chut deserves to be accorded with a state burial in a most decorated way that will be an example to the upcoming leaders that has Country at heart.”
Last Kon concluded that late General is a Man of Physical Development “He is indeed a man of physical development that is seen in his infrastructural development at the State Secretariate, State House, Presidential Resident, Proposed State Legislative Assembly, he administered construction of Kiir Mayardit Hospital amongst others.
We are yet to hear from Lakes State Government.
