JUBA The South Sudan People’s Movement/Army (SSPM/A) is shocked and disturbed by wild allegations made on social media by the Sudanese-based media platform outlet Alzool T.V mentioning the leader of South Sudan People’s Movement/Army as one of the South Sudanese opposition leaders who have forces fighting alongside the Sudan Rapid Support Forces by sharing images of some South Sudanese in uniform of the Rapid Support Forces.
The South Sudan People’s Movement/Army (SSPM/A) has categorically denied any participation of its forces in the Sudan crisis.
The forces of the South Sudan People’s Army (SSPA) are on the border of South Sudan with Sudan in Upper Nile and Unity States far away from the epicentre of the military confrontations in the Sudanese capital Khartoum and we cannot even verify and recognize the faces of those images of South Sudanese shared by Alzool T.V. on its media platform outlet.
The South Sudan People’s Movement/Army (SSPM/A) asks the Alzool T.V. to provide substantial evidence that indicates the involvement of the SSPM/A in the Sudanese conflict.
