Community Empowerment for Progress Organization (CEPO) has condemned in the strongest terms the heinous, satanic, unprovoked and senseless killings of RRC officers in Lakes State, Rumbek.
RRC Chairperson togather with his member where killed by RRC security guard on Friday evening. The evening shooting has left two people with gunshots wounds.
We are horrified and devastated by the latest gruesome murder of a RRC chairperson, Makerdit, and Prison officers that was killed this morning.
We condemn in the strongest terms, this latest provocative and heinous killing which has assumed an intellectual ethnic dimension and portends grave danger to state peace and security.”
CEPO is worried that If these recent rearmament of cattle camps youth and dastardly acts of target killings in Lakes State are not confronted frontally with all the seriousness it deserves, we, as a State, might be playing with a time bomb that can explode at any time and imperil our humanity.
The relaxation of security apparatus to carryout internal search has caused state an innocent lives. We appeal to the state leadership to handle this case with immediate response. We are aggrieved by this act as we urged family members of the deceased to remain calm. May the soul of departed one rest in peace!
