Commissioner of Mayom County John Bol Mayak and Major General Makal Kuol moved from Mayom to Mankien through Abiemnom and Akotong roads on 26/5/2023. They found three unarmed civilians on the border of Twic and Mayom on their way to Bieh Payam from Ajak Kuac where they went to sell their cows. The commissioner and General Makal Kuol got out of their vehicles and started firing at innocent civilians. Thank God, none of the civilians was injured. The civilians ran back to Ajak Kuac Payam and reported the incident to Ajak Kuac authority and the nearby SSPDF division-3 barrack.
Today We were surprised by a statement issued by the office of the commissioner of Mayom County that they were ambushed by the SSPA on their way to Mankien. The question is how could the SSPA ambush them in the territory of Twic, Warrap state where there is no presence of the SSPA?
The commissioner is just creating a situation by covering up the shooting of innocent civilians and that he is not happy with the presence of a huge number of Mayom County civilians in AJak Kuac, Twic, Warrap state who fled to Ajak Kuac in 2021, because of intimidation and mistreatment of civilians in Mayom county.
The SSPM/A is warning the commissioner of Mayom County that the SSPA can attack him at his HQ in the territory of Mayom County and not in the territory of Warrap state as he has falsely stated.
Gen Stephen told Thejubamirror news that they have forces around Mayom and other counties side with civilians but we have no forces in Bhar El Gazal where they felt in an ambushed on the border of Twic and Mayom county he said .
