JUBA, 15 May 2023- President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Monday received the Shield of Justice Award from the International Permanent Court of Arbitration.
The First President of the International Permanent Court of Arbitration, Justice Al-Bashir bin Abdullah Saeed presented the award to President Kiir.
Speaking to the press, shortly after the presentation, Justice Al-Bashir Bin Abdullah Saeed said the award is in recognition of President Kiir’s tireless efforts for peace in South Sudan and the entire sub-region.
The International Permanent Court of Arbitration is an integral part of the justice system, that addresses major disputes around the world.
