JUBA, 10th MAY 2023- The King of Azande Kingdom his Majesty Atoroba Peni Rikito has told President Kiir that the security situation in Western Equatoria State is deplorable.
While briefing the President on the situation in the Kingdom’s territory on Wednesday, the King says many people are displaced in the areas around Tombura due to conflict.
Atoroba said the presence of armed Ambororo tribesmen in the area is causing a great security threat to the people.
The King was accompanied by the Kingdom’s leaders from Tombura and Ezo counties, which are experiencing difficult situations.
President Kiir promised to support the leadership of the Kingdom in order to help restore and maintain security in Western Equatoria State.
