CEPO. welcomed the efforts of South Sudan in pushing the leaders of the Sudanese warring parties on respect of ceasefire and acceptance of consultative political dialogue for seeking durable solutions to Sudan political crisis. This is encouraging and motivating.
Mr Edmund Yakani, Executive Director of Cepo says the leaders of the Sudan conflicting parties should opt to political dialogue than the continuous military confrontation. Military solutions to political crisis never gain a part from driving the warring to commitment more human atrocities and destruction to properties.

The leaders of the Sudan warring parties should learned from the past experiences that made former President Omer Hassan el Bashir to being face war crimes charges. They are not far from this history if they continue steering military solutions to their political crisis.
