The scenario of weakening the strength of the state government in the horn of African witnessed in the recent past is now extended to Sudan likely it may be extended beyond. The horn African political game of undermining Secuirty and political stability is gaining momentum from the supporters of the strategy which is gulf influence and anti-democracy forces
Mr Edmund Yakani, Executive Director of Cepo says IGAD members and horn of African governments should not take the armed violence in Sudan simple. It begins in Sudan and likely it success will be extended to the whole horn of African governments. Already some stronge governments in the horn of African and IGAD region, their Secuirty and political stability is undermined
Finally CEPO ia urging the political leadership in South Sudan to learn from current Sudan ongoing violence. Undermining genuine implementation of signed peace agreement is potential trigger for deadly clashes over control of state governance and administration of government. South Sudan president should play genuine and effective role for bringing the Sudan conflicting partner to the table of genuine and functional political dialogue
