Merry Easter, Mr. President!
First of all, I want to express my gratitude for upholding the nation’s peace, security, and continued development efforts despite the economic crisis.
Your Excellency, I am writing this open letter to inform the highest level of your government of the political squabbles there by some disgruntled politicians who are seeking illicit favor. In the course of this article, I will focus on one particular instance of a war being declared against Gen. Deng Wal, the Executive Director at your highest post. Several political and business organizations from the Northern Bhar El Ghazal State, Warrap State, and Upper Nile State have banded together to oppose Gen. James Deng Wal. They enlisted several Gogrial and Aweil residents to fight on their behalf in their conflict with him. These recruits are told to assert that they oppose Gen. James Deng holding the position of President’s office for the following reasons:
- That he does not deliver our messages filled with different types of requests and some information.
- That he does not give them a long time to listen to the details of issues.
- That he is not giving us money, smartphones, and school fees continuously.
But those claims are not the genuine reasons why they are trying to sabotage him in his assignments. He is being fought by some dignitaries because of two reasons below;
- Some of them are accusing him that he is having intentions to remove Governor Tong Akeen Ngor.
- Some of them are pro-agenda of wanting to remove him so that they can install a new Executive Director of their choice to exploit.

It is not editing that Gen. James Deng professionally brought harmony to the First family and among employees at Presidential Palace, as we speak, more members of the First family and relevant Communities of Awan Muorkuau, Apuk Giir Thiik, and their friends have received valuable gifts such as cars, houses, jobs, medical assistance, electronic devices, school supplies, and more during the tenure of Hon. James Deng Wal as Executive Director in your highest office. With Gen. Deng Wal in the big office nowadays, the President’s gifts to people and organisations no longer deviate from his promises; gone are those days when/after the President makes a gift-giving commitment, individuals with whom he works would divert the gifts and later deny the supposed recipient access to the President to cover up the deal. Today no more deviation from the President’s pledges to his people. If President Wunpiny gives out some gifts can reach recipients without delays.
It is during the tenure of Gen. James Deng Wal that the State House got renovated to the modern luxurious physical appearance that the public is seeing now at J1 and your esteemed office near the Parliamentary General Assembly. The ongoing work of constructing of modern world-class State House and J3 Space has been also going on very faster and more smoothly simply because of the good supervision of Gen. James Deng Wal.

Gen. James Deng often pays close attention to you your Excellency Wunpiny while also keeping an eye on other urgent situations to make sure that the President’s concentration is kept on fairness, thoughtful judgments, and prompt action in preserving lives and properties, preserving sovereignty, and reestablishing or advancing peace, security, and development throughout the nation. President Wunpiny was able to save His Majesty the King of the Chollo Community’s life because of Gen. James Deng’s keen report.
Gen. James Deng produced a lot of admirable things that made him respected, and we should be showering praise and blessings on his honorable name just as we do when we do positively sing the names of finance ministers, central bank governors, and state governors, especially when our loved ones receive employment and benefits payments. In all honesty, Gen. James Deng Wal is a very unique instrument tool of the Presidency that has to be supported rather than undermined or sabotaged.
Enumerating Deng Wal idealistically, he is a public servant who puts the needs of the work ahead of any potential for partiality and does not allow personal allegiances, sympathies, or interests to interfere with the way he does his duties; for instance, since his appointment, he has never been required to exercise caution in his financial dealings. Only the ethical virtues of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Objectivity, and Selflessness are the subject of his attention. He is one of unmatched subordinates who are able to perform their complex duties without supervision on them. Saying all these does not mean he is Jesus Christ or better than everybody. No, I don’t mean that but I am sure 100% Gen. James Deng is a man of unquestionable competency and wisdom-guided judgment. Your Excellency Wunpiny, kindly backup your loyal son Gen. James Deng Wal as he faces this endless gossip or sabotage. To those trying to sabotage him, let us respect hard-working public servants if we really have hearts for nation-building.
