Rumbek — More than 300 families are being evicted from their homes in Rumbek town
The controversial demolition of Houses in Rumbek town which started on Sunday..has triggered a major public outcry from properties owners and friends of those who have been evicted from their Homes.
The affected families are calling on the government to imm stop the exercise and to compensates the affected people..estimated to be around 300 .
Business woman Ayen Makur Kulang Liei has released land title and documents that show she had rightfully bought the plot of land where her house was demolished by Lakes State authorities on Sunday.
This comes after state authorities claimed that she had not acquired the land legally.
The documents attached here show Ayen bought the plot in 2021.
